Welcome To U.S. Border Fire Report
www.usborderfirereport.com

Attention: City, County, Business & Industry Leaders:
United States Homeland Defense Association provides training and
consulting services. USHDA is interested in working with you to
develop an emergency plan for your city, county, company or help
enhance your existing emergency plan. We offer this service as a
step-by-step approach to emergency planning, response and
recovery for cities, counties and companies of all sizes.
Emergency management means planning and responding to
emergencies. These include floods, hurricanes, earthquakes,
tornados, winter storms and drought to name a few and man made
disasters such as terrorism. All of these have hit American
companies and sometimes hit them hard.
We continually strive to bring to companies a strong and diverse
training program. The overall training objective of these courses
is to advance the qualifications, knowledge and development of
emergency management personnel in your company.
Emergency Management series courses are distributed among the following
general categories:
Intro to Emergency Management
Emergency Management and Recovery
Advanced Emergency Management
Emergency plans, Exercise Design, Enhanced Exercise Design and Advanced
Exercise Design
Executive Series (executive & family security)
Emergency Preparedness Series
Hazmat and Radiological Training Series
Exercise & Training
Terrorism
Other Training Programs
We teach preparedness that provides leadership, training,
readiness and exercise support, and technical advantage, and your
own in house emergency team as they prepare for disasters,
mitigate the effects of disasters, respond to jurisdictional and company needs after
a disaster, and launch effective recovery efforts including the
writing of grants.
Learn about the nature of terrorism.
The USHDA can be engaged to provide high level consulting
services. While all consulting requests are evaluated on a case
by case basis, we have a core expertise in the following subject
areas: terrorism, critical infrastructure protection, information
warfare, vulnerability and threat assessment (red teaming),
systems engineering, encryption, computer security, intelligence
analysis, national security and defense policy.
TRAINING
The USHDA Terrorism instructors and associates are available for
lecture and training sessions in the following subject areas:
Modern Terrorism
Forecasts
Information Warfare
Information
Terrorism
Emergency Response
Bomb Threat
Analysis and Countermeasures
Critical
Infrastructure Protection
Current
Counterterrorism Initiatives
Terrorists look for visible targets where they can avoid
detection before or after an attack such as international
airports, large cities, major international events, resorts, and
high-profile landmarks.
Learn about the different types of terrorist weapons including
explosives, kidnappings, hijackings, arson, and shootings.
Learn to be aware of heavy or breakable objects that could move,
fall or break in an explosion.
Preparing for a Building Explosion. The use of explosives by
terrorists can result in collapsed buildings and fires. We can
provide step-by-step advice on how to create and maintain a
comprehensive emergency management program. It can be used by
manufacturers, corporate offices, retailers, utilities or any
organization where a sizable number of people work or gather.
Whether you operate from a high-rise building or an industrial
complex; whether you own, rent or lease your property; whether
you are a large or small company or government inity; the
concepts here will apply.
To begin, you need not have in-depth knowledge of emergency
management. What you need is the authority to create a plan and a
commitment from the chief executive officer or city manager to
make emergency management part of your city, county or corporate
culture.
If you already have a plan, we can assess and update your plan.
We will form a planning team and show you how to conduct a
vulnerability analysis; how to develop a plan; and how to
implement the plan. The information can be applied to virtually
any type of business or industry.
Hazard-Specific Information -- technical information about
specific hazards your facility may face.
What Is an Emergency?
An emergency is any unplanned event that can cause deaths or
significant injuries to employees, customers or the public; or
that can shut down your business, disrupt operations, cause
physical or environmental damage, or threaten the facility's
financial standing or public image. Obviously, numerous events
can be "emergencies,"
